摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the starting performance of an engine that uses a gasoline fuel and a gaseous fuel, dispense with its adjustments for an idle air-fuel ratio, and improve its fuel economy, driveability, output power and emission. SOLUTION: When a starter switch 21 is closed for a startup of an engine 1, a fuel selector valve 15 opens a gasoline fuel passage 20 and closes a gaseous fuel passage 14 at the same time, by which a fuel pump 19 is allowed to feed gasoline to injectors 6 for the cylinders to start the engine 1. When the starter switch 21 is opened and the water temperature reaches a preset value, the fuel selector valve 15 switches over to allow a regulator 13 to feed a gaseous LPG fuel to the injectors 6. An ECU 5 controls the air-fuel ratio by driving the injectors 6 on the basis of signals from an O2 sensor 4. At a middle or high load, the ECU 5 drives a step motor 17 to open an analog valve 16, which is thus allowed to feed the gaseous fuel to a venturi 9 as well.
