PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive assisting device with high degree of freedom on a layout. SOLUTION: For the accelerator brake processing of this drive helping device, whether or not the position data of an operation lever are larger than a reference value for indicating a reference position is judged (SB2), and in the case that the operation lever is operated to a vehicle front side and the position data are larger than the reference value, engine braking is performed by minimizing the opening degree of a throttle valve in an electrically controlled accelerator actuator (SB3) and a brake is controlled by operating an electrically controlled magnification device by braking force proportional to the size of the difference of the position data and the reference value (SB4). In the case that the operation lever is operated to a vehicle rear side and the position data are smaller than the reference value, braking by the braking is released by stopping control by the electrically controlled magnification device (SB6) and the opening degree of the throttle valve is controlled by controlling the electrically controlled accelerator actuator by the opening degree proportional to the size of the difference of the reference value and the position data (SB7). |
