PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform favorable air conditioning while contriving reliability elevation and efficiency elevation in heating and cooling operation. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is equipped with an expansion valve controller 21 comprising the first opening determiner which determines the opening, with the view of control of the degree of discharge overheat, the second opening determiner 24 which operates the opening of an expansion valve from the opening obtained with the first opening determiner 23 and the opening of at the last control by the fuzzy membership function using the degree of overheat as a parameter, the third opening determiner 25 which determines the opening, adding the variation of opening computed with the view of control of the degree of overcool of the outlet of an indoor heat exchanger to the opening obtained with the second opening determiner 24, the forth opening determiner 26 which determines the opening, adding the variation of opening computed with the view of temperature control of air conditioning space to the opening obtained with the second opening determiner 24, and the fifth opening determiner 27 which operates the opening of the expansion valve from the opening being decided by the third aperture determiner 25 and the fourth opening determiner 26 by the fuzzy membership function using the degree of overcool of the outlet of the indoor heat exchanger as a parameter. |
