PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which prevents an overflow of developer from a developer storage part and damage of a stirring means when the fault or the like of a detection means occurs. SOLUTION: A discontinuing means discontinues the supply of developer by a carrying means 4 from a developer replenishment container 1 to a developer storage part 2, in the case that a change in signal transmitted when a wiper spring 5a passes the detection faces of the detection means 7a and 7b while wiping them is not detected when the detection means 7a and 7b are not detect the developer, or in the case that the detection means 7b is not detecting an amount of developer when the detection means 7a is detecting the developer, or in the case that a power detection means 5 detects that the power consumption of the stirring means 5 is higher than a prescribed value. |
