PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulating fuel injection device which can safely run a vehicle for a given time without rapid stop even if a non-force feed condition occurs in a high pressure feed pump. SOLUTION: An accumulator 81 is connected with a common rail 4 through a fuel passage 42. A solenoid valve 80 is provided in the fuel passage 42, and at the opening of the valve the common rail 4 is communicated with the accumulator 81. An electronic control unit 12, during a normal operation, opens the solenoid valve 80 to introduce high-pressure fuel in the common rail 4 into the accumulator 81, and when the pressure in the common rail 4 becomes lower than the minimum injection pressure, opens the solenoid valve 80 to supply the high-pressure fuel in the accumulator 81 to the common rail 4. |
