PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-path color printer capable of precisely aligning a color plane image and having simple configuration. SOLUTION: A driving shaft 56 borne by right and left frame members 52 and 54 in a medium sheet driving mechanism 50 gives motive power to the mechanism 50. Driving pulleys 58 and 26 driven by the shaft 56 give the rotation to an OPC(organic photoconductor) driving band 60 and a medium driving band 22. The band 60 engages and drives a pressure roller 64 and an OPC roller 36 in each developing station. When the shaft 56 is rotated counterclockwise, the bands 60 and 22 are moved leftward, then the roller 36 is rotated clockwise and respective carrying rollers 46 are rotated counterclockwise. Therefore, the rollers 36 and 46 are rotated at the same speed. |
