PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator type fuel injection device by which a vehicle can be traveled safely during a predetermined time without being suddenly stopped even though the unforced feed condition of a high pressure supply pump is cansed. SOLUTION: A first pressure control valve 80 setting pressure of fuel in a low pressure fuel supply piping 40 to a first control pressure lower than the lowest injection pressure is arranged in the path of a low pressure fuel return piping 41 branched from the downstream side of the low pressure supply pump 9 of the low pressure fuel supply piping 40, and a second pressure control valve 81 setting pressure of fuel in the low pressure fuel supply piping 40 to a second control pressure of more than the lowest injection pressure is arranged in the path of a bypass piping 42 branched from the upstream side of the first pressure control valve 80 of the low pressure fuel return piping 41. A flow control valve 82 is arranged on the downstream side of the first pressure control valve 80 of the low pressure fuel return piping 41, and when a high pressure supply pump 7 is in an unforced feed condition, pressure set of fuel in the low pressure fuel supply piping 40 is changed from the first pressure control valve 80 to the second pressure control valve 81. |
