PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reset a heating cooker without stopping operation thereof even when an abnormal state occurs in a CPU for controlling the operating section of heating cooking or a CPU for controlling the heating section thereof. SOLUTION: An operating section control unit 10 comprising a CPU 11a for controlling a operating unit 8 for inputting cooking information and a heating section control unit 6 comprising a CPU 14a for controlling the operation of a heater based on cooking information inputted on the operating unit 8 side and the output of information indicative of the progress of cooking communicate the cooking information and the cooking progress information on a data communication line 13 and store the information in RAMs 11c, 14c. When an abnormal state occurs in one of the CPUs 11a, 14a, data stored in that CPU is read out while interrupting the CPU through the data communication line 13 and held. Subsequently, that CPU is initialized and the information thus held is returned back through the data communication line 13. |
