PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved crossover button for a ball screw assembly which can be fitted into a cutout opening by positioning locking projection which are automatically reset outward in hollow spaces of threaded portions, and thereby preventing radially outward dislocation of the crossover button. SOLUTION: Threaded portions 22 and 23 cross an opening 19 at their portions 22b and 23b. Adjacent hollow chambers are defined across portions 22a and 23a, so as to be separated by a land portion 15 of a nut 14. Transverse positioning and locking projections 27 are formed on a circumferential elastic leg, that is front portions 28 in a cross over button 21. The legs are deflected inward, passing through the projections 27 via the opening 19 from the outside of the nut 14. When the projections 27 are perfectly inserted, they are reset outward in a transverse direction so as to be located at the hollow spaces 22b and 23b of the threaded portions 22 and 23. |
