PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a transparent barrier film excellent in transparency as well as gas barrier properties to oxygen gas, steam or the like, though it comprises a biaxially stretched polypropylene film as a substrate film. SOLUTION: To one surface of a biaxially stretched polypropylene film 2 is supplied a mixed gas composition for the vapor deposition comprising at least a monomer gas for the vapor deposition, oxygen gas and an inert gas, the oxygen gas content in the mixed gas composition for the vapor deposition being in the range of 75% or more, to form a deposited thin film 3 of an inorganic oxide by the plasma chemical vapor deposition. |
