PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control system for an internal combustion engine that controls a fuel injection quantity for each cylinder while suppressing any dispersion in combustion torque indexes and prevents any vibration caused by the difference in torque among the cylinders. SOLUTION: A fuel injection control system for an internalcombustion engine comprises a means 31 for computing a basic fuel quantity PR for use in controlling the engine speed, a means 32 for detecting the crank angle periods T of each cylinder before and after combustion, a means 33 for computing a combustion torque indexαfor each cylinder on the basis of at least either of the engine speed and the crank angle periods, a means 34 for computing a fuel correction volume Q with the difference in the combustion torque indexes among the cylinders set zero, a means 35 for allowing reflection of the fuel correction volume to each cylinder, and a drive control means 37 for driving a fuel governor means 4 on the basis of the basic fuel quantity and the fuel correction volumes outputted at preset timing.
