EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITION FOR JIG AND TOOL AND EPOXY-RESINOUS MOLD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition capable of producing a resinous mold high in mechanical strengths and excellent in durability when repeatedly used by including an epoxy resin, metal powder and aramid fiber and pouring it into a mold. SOLUTION: This composition pref. having a viscosity of 5 to 200 Pa.s at 50 deg.C comprises at least (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a metal powder and (C) an aramid, and further specifically comprises 60 to 85 wt.% of component B with a mean particle size of <=100μm and 0.1 to 5 wt.% of component C having a fiber length of <=10 mm. The cured product has a rate of shrink of pref. <=0.01% when the composition mixed with an epoxy resin curing agent is poured into a mold and then cured.
