PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an image forming device favorable in environmental protection and to surely reduce the running cost by surely preventing the formation of an electric discharge product on a discharge wire of an electrifier, in an image forming device using a scorotron type electrifier and attaining cleanerless development. SOLUTION: The scorotron electrifier 26 is provided on a main body side and a photoreceptive drum 23 and a developing roller 27 are provided in a process cartridge 3 freely attachable/detachable to/from a main body. Further, as a nonmagnetic one-component developer, a suspension polymerization toner T is used. As an external additive, both of large and small grain size external additives are constituted of titanium oxide. By such a constitution, reduction in the durability of a scorotron type electrifying means can be surely prevented. Consequently, the running cost can be surely decreased, an image of high quality can be formed over a long period and further, the image forming device made favorable in the environmental protection can be obtained. |
