<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel polyelectrolyte film which has a handleability as good as a solid electrolyte film while having a proton conductivity equivalent to that of a strong acid by forming a composite contg. a specific polycyclamin and a strong acid and forming the composite into a film. SOLUTION: A composite contg. a polycyclamin having repeating units of the formula [wherein R<1> , R<2> , and R<3> are each H or lower alkyl; A<1> is lower alkylene or a group of -A<2> -N(R<4> )-A<3> - or -A<2> -N(R<4> )-A<3> -N(R<5> )-A<4> -; A<2> , A<3> , and A<4> are each lower alkylene; R<4> and R<5> are each H or lower alkyl; B is lower alkylene; and n is an integer of 2 or higher] and a strong acid is formed. Pref., the polycyclamin has been crosslinked with an org. compd. having at least two epoxy groups. Pref., the composite contains 0.05-2 mol of the strong acid per mol of amino group and has a proton conductivity at 100 deg.C of 10<-6> S/cm or higher.</p> |
