PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the positioning of the top ends of toner images at the time of transferring the toner, images to a transfer belt and to shorten the processing time at the time of forming images on plural sheets. SOLUTION: This transfer device of image forming device is provided with a transfer belt 46 having an outer periphery 111, to which toner images formed on the periphery of a photoreceptor drum are transferred, and plural detecting holes 120 provided so that the number of them is at least larger than that of the toner images formed on the outer periphery 111, for deciding the top end positions in the rotational directions of the toner images transferred to the outer periphery 111, and a photointerrupter 122 for detecting the detecting holes 120 and generating detecting signals. By such a constitution, the number of parts to be detected is set to be larger than that of the toner images formed in the image transfer part of the transfer belt and timing signals at the time of transferring the toner images can be generated on the basis of the timing of detecting each part to be detected, to shorten the processing time. |
