The box is manufactured by injection of an insulating material into a mold and comprises a casing (2) delimiting a cavity (3). The casing has a ground support surface (4) and an opening (5) closed by a removable wall. In a plane (P) parallel to the ground support plane the casing internal surface (16) has a wide rib (7) extending to two vertical edges of the opening to constitute a support surface (10) for supporting the edges of three sides of a tray.
