<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce breakage and detachment of heat insulating materials in a flexible joint apparatus for use at high temperature. SOLUTION: A flexible joint apparatus 1 is formed so that: flanges 3a, 3b which are fixed to duct sleeves 2a, 2b separated in their communication are connected to each other by cylindrical film bodies 4 capable of extending and contracting; and heat insulating materials 6 are inserted into stud bolts 5a, 5b stuck on the duct sleeves 2a, 2b. Lengths (f) of openings between the duct sleeves 2a, 2b are not less than 75% of the lengths (e) between the stud bolts 5a, 5b. Accordingly, a first layer of the heat insulating materials 6 can bend gently to prevent a second layer of the heat resistant materials 6 from being strongly pressed down.</p> |
