PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a one-way clutch capable of automating the assembling work of the one-way clutch, improving the productivity and the quality stability, and saving the labor. SOLUTION: Sprags 21 of as specified number are successively inserted by a spray insertion part 50 in a sprag pocket 45 of a boss 44 on a rotary index table 41. A ribbon spring 22 is fitted to the boss 44 by a ribbon spring fitting part 60, an outer holder 23 is fitted to the boss 44 by an outer holder fitting part 70, the boss 44 is continuously rotated to move each sprag 21 outwardly in the radial direction of the boss 44 by the centrifugal force to be effected on the sprags 21 so as to be fitted to sprag insertion windows 28, 30 of the ribbon spring 22 and the outer holder 23. In addition, an inner holder 24 is fitted to the boss 44 by an inner holder fitting part 80 to fit each sprag 21 into a sprag pocket 45 of the inner holder 24. |
