PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform, by a data processing device, a deconvolution process of discrete data in a pulse waveform in which an electric signal of short pulses, which is a measuring object, is sampled at the oscillation timing of a laser beam of short pulses, in a pulse measuring device. SOLUTION: High-speed Fourier transform is given individually to discrete data in a pulse waveform of an electric signal or a laser beam, to thereby generate operation results 'I(i), G(i)', and a result E1 (i) is calculated by the operation 'G(i)/I(-i)', and false peaks are detected from its complex absolute value|E1 (i)|, and complex spectrum data E(i) are generated from the operation result E1 (i) after taking amplitude values of the false peaks as '0', and inverse high-speed Fourier transform is given to the complex spectrum data E(i) to thereby generate discrete data e(i) in a pulse waveform of an electric signal which is a measuring object. Hereby, false peaks which do not exist essentially can be removed, so the discrete data e(i) in a pulse waveform of the electric signal can be generated accurately.
