PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a venting drip which improves workability in starting to install the first stage of a dry type wall material used for an exterior material. SOLUTION: A venting drip A formed in the bottom of a vent furring strip E is formed of a vertical flat fixed part 1, a bottom 2 bending a part near the bottom of the fixed part 1, a lock piece 3 projecting the tip of the bottom 2 upward, a drip face 5 formed by inclining and bending the bottom of the fixed part 1 downward, a projecting face 7 formed by projecting the tip of the drip face 5 inward, and a venting void 9 formed in the projecting face at a fixed pitch. In this case, the fixed part 1 is a part fixing the venting drip A to a wall substrateαby a fixing toolβand the lock piece 3 locks an engagement groove 15 of a dry type wall material B and functions as a start material starting to install the dry type wall material B. The drip face 5 has such functions as flowing down the rain water flowing on the dry type wall material B to the ground, holding the bottom end part of the dry type wall material B horizontal, and storing the bottom part beautifully.
