A signaling device for indicating various states of operation and malfunction of electrical machines, consists of at least one, optical and/or acoustic signal transmitters 7 which are arranged essentially linearly next to and/or above one another and are connected to an energy source by energy transmission lines. The signal transmitters 7 are each in housings with an outer casing surface 13 in which are arranged electrical installations 15, 16, 18 for the generation of an optical and/or acoustic signals. Neighboring housings are adapted to be connected to one another. A signaling device, which is especially formed as a kit and indicates in a simple manner, the correct sequence for the fitting together of the signal transmitters, is produced in such a way that in the outer casing surface 13 of the housing of at least one of the signal transmitters, a number of holes (14) is arranged that corresponds to at least the number of signal transmitters and into which indicating devices (15) can be inserted. |
