PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing a nonwoven fabric with slight decline in electrification of electrified fibers due to contact and in uniformity due to adherence to a collision plate, and to provide a production unit for the nonwoven fabric. SOLUTION: This method for producing a nonwoven fabric is characteristic in that, when the nonwoven fabric is to be produced using electrification opening technique, a semiconductor having a volume resistivity of 1×10 Ω.cm to 1×10<12> Ω.cm is used as at least part of fiber contact members involved in the whole process from the electrification opening step through the collection of fibers onto a net conveyor 10. The other objective production unit for the nonwoven fabric has an ejector 2 for high-speed suction of fibers, an electrification section 5 for forcedly electrifying fibers, and a collision plate 8 for altering the jet direction of electrified fiber stream between the electrification section 5 and the net conveyor 10; wherein at least the collision plate 8 is made of a semiconductor having a volume resistivity of 1×10 Ω.cm to 1×10<12> Ω.cm. |
