PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsiveness for a target fuel pressure change by controlling a pressure regulator of a solenoid valve using a feedback controlled variable and a feed forward controlled variable to make the fuel pressure approximate to the target fuel pressure with good responsiveness to be taken as fuel injection pressure. SOLUTION: Fuel injection pressure is controlled by setting a target fuel pressure according to the rotating speed and load of an engine at a target fuel pressure setting part 21, and inputting the same to a feedback controlled variable setting part 22. The detected fuel pressure is input to a feedback controlled variable setting part 22 to set the respective components of P.I.D, and the components are added to set a feedback controlled variableθFB of valve opening angle of a solenoid valve. A feed forward controlled variable setting part 24 sets a feed forward controlled variableθFF of a valve opening angle of the solenoid valve so that fuel of equivalent quantity flowing out according to the fuel injection quantity is supplied from a fuel pump. Thus, the fuel injection pressure is feedback-controlled to a target value with good responsiveness.
