Spool tube changing - prior to wet processing bulked continuous yarns

The impermeable tubes on which spools of bulked continuous filament yarns are wound, are exchanged prior to wet setting or dyeing, quickly and without disturbing the inner winding, for a perforated elastic tube which being axially compressible also increases the dyeing machine capacity. After the wet treatment the perforated tube is exchanged for a smaller dia plastic tube, to facilitate drying and rewinding.
