Compounds of formula (I), in which A is CH and D is N<+>R; or A is nitrogen and D is N<+>R; or A is N<+>R and D is nitrogen, where R is CR<4>R<5>D<a>R<6>, Q<n-> is an inorganic or organic anion, n being 1, 2, 3 or 4; X, Y, Z, and R<1>, R<2> and R<3> have various meanings as defined in the claims, are useful pesticidal, especially insecticidal activity.
