The invention relates to a material for protecting surfaces during treatment with mechanical, chemical or photochemical means, whereby the material consists of at least two components that are mixed shortly before being applied on the surface to be protected. Preferably, the material is formed by polycondensation, polymerization or polyaddition after the mixed components have being applied on the surface to be protected. The invention further relates to a method for protecting surfaces during treatment with mechanical, chemical or photochemical means, wherein a protective coating of a polymer material is applied on the surfaces to be protected, whereby at least two components reacting with each other to form the polymer material are mixed shortly before being applied on the surface to be protected. |
