The seat fitting device has a locking device (10) on the seat side and a bolt (18) on the vehicle side. The bolt can be inserted in the open locking device as far as a stop (35). The stop causes the locking device to close. There may be a feeler (30) in the region of the stop, which when the locking device is closed, releases a spring-loaded locking hook. The feeler and the locking hook are made as separate components.
