Catalysts for crosslinking cold- or hot-crosslinking materials, containing alkali metal salts of linear or branched, saturated, mono- or polyunsaturated, aliphatic and/or aromatic carboxylic acids of natural and/or synthetic origin. An Independent claim is also included for cold- or hot-crosslinking materials containing 1,3-butadiene-based polymers with primary and/or secondary hydroxyl groups and 1,3-butadiene-based polymers with carboxyl groups, plus catalyst(s) as defined above and conventional additives which are not crosslinking catalysts.
