Bloodless function test of implanted shunt system in patient with hydrocephalus

摘要

The device has at least one electromechanical transducer element and piezoelectric film sensors, to record elastic movements of shunt system. The transducer creates defines pressure waves, transferred via the patient's skin to the shunt tube. Reactions of the shunt system are analyzed using signal analysis algorithms to determine possible functional disturbances.
