Package for a food product, the package (10) comprising a container (12) defining an inner chamber (14) and a food product (16) housed in said inner chamber (14) of said container (12), wherein the food product, which is introduced into said chamber in substantially liquid condition, presents an air bubble (40) generated during the filling operation inside the package (10). The package comprises means (29) to confine said air bubble (40) in a predefined position within the package (10). A method is also provided for the realisation of the present package.
