Fixtures are mounted on a conveyor belt to simultaneously remove the creatures (30) and water. A conveyor belt (2) extending in the water flow direction is positioned with the lower conveyor run beneath the water surface (12), and comprises a permeable fabric (8) through which the water flows. A construction (14, 15, 18-20) located behind the top apex of the conveyor belt receives the creatures taken out of the water course.
