A system for forming artistic ink impressions including a case comprising a base member (26) and a lid member (24). In a first aspect a rubber stamp member (322) is positioned in the base member (26). A sheet material (328) is positioned over the rubber stamp member (322) and a brayer sheet (324) is positioned over the sheet. A brayer roller (340) is brought into contact with the brayer sheet (324) and subsequently the sheet material (328), the brayer roller (340) and the brayer sheet (324) pressing down on the sheet material (328) bringing it into contact with the stamp member (322), thereby transferring ink to the sheet material (328). In a second aspect of the invention, the base member (26) is arranged so as to receive printing accessories including tray members (150, 152, 154) which may carry ink pads (160), bottle slots (166) and ink wells (168). The tray members also carry a stylus member (172) which is selectively attachable to any of a plurality of stamping or inking tips (174).
