COMBINED VALVING SYSTEM FOR SPRING BRAKE ACTUATOR

An improved spring brake actuator includes an improved valve housing (32) which incorporates pressure test points (40) into the air supply, and further incorporates an anti-compounding valve (42). By incorporating the anti-compounding valve (42) and test points (40) directly into the valve manifold (41), the inventive spring brake actuator reduces the number of separate parts. The anti-compounding valve is operable to insure that there will be no compounding of the braking force.
