The present invention relates to new vaccine strains of Vibrio cholerae wherein the mucinase activity coded by the gene of the hemagglutinine protease has been eliminated. Said gene has been interrupted with the insertion of a marquer gene. There is also disclosed another mutant of Vibrio cholerae having better properties of biosecurity.
