摘要 The test strip (18), for use with a sample fluid, is clamped by spring pressure parallel to the laying surface (26) against a limit stop (66) in the test strip holder at the measurement instrument. The spring pressure is applied by an elastic distortion of the test strip (18) as it is laid in place in the strip holder. The test strip has an opening (58) near at least one edge. The contour of the opening at the adjacent material web (60) and/or the facing limit surfaces (54,56) is structured so that the material web, distorted at the test strip, is inserted into the holder. The strip holder or the material web has a projection (62) for laying at the holder. The test strip holder can have a spring, where its spring pressure tenses the strip against a limit stop, on a direction to push the strip out of the holder. The limit stop has a block to engage a recess in the test strip, which can be moved between a locking and a release position. The limit stop block is tensed into the locking position. The test strip holder can have at least two side grips at the laying surface (26) to hold the side edges of the test strip. The center zone of the laying surface is offset vertically between the holders, with a projection to support the test field (30) of the test strip. The test strip holder, with an outer insertion end and an inner end, has a spring arm near the inner end which rises from the laying surface to the inner end, and which can be deflected towards the laying surface. The spring arm has a counter pressure surface, at a gap from the laying surface, which rises parallel to the spring arm from the laying surface to the inner end. The spring arm has a projection to engage a ratchet recess. A clamping lever is over the laying surface, on a swing axis parallel to the surface, with a clamping arm pressed against the laying surface, with a projection to engage in the ratchet recess in the test strip. The clamping arm is linked to an operating arm, to be pressed by the spring to move the clamping arm against the laying surface. The surface of the clamping arm, towards the laying surface, has a flat trough to guide the test strip. The edges of the flat trough fit into complementary grooves in the laying surface. The test strip holder is a separate unit, to be inserted into the measurement instrument housing. The optical measurement instrument has a lens to examine the test field, under a measurement opening (28) in the laying surface for the test strip. The instrument can have contacts as strip clamps, for an electrical resistance measurement of the test field. The contacts are springs, which are pressed home by the swing movement of the operating lever against the laying surface.
