Cosmetic, dermatological, pharmaceutical, dietetic or agricultural feed composition comprises one or more flavonoid esters (I) in a vehicle, extender or carrier, where (I) are products obtained by reacting 4-oxo flavonoids or their salts, esters, ethers, C-heterosides or O-heterosides, containing at least one free alcohol group, with monobasic organic acids containing 3-30 carbon (C) atoms. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a cosmetic treatment method comprising topical application of (I) to the skin; (2) a cosmetic care method for inhibiting cuperosis (not defined), inhibiting chemical, physical or actinic erythema, for treating sensitive skin, (or providing) shrinking, dehydrating, slimming and anti-wrinkle effects, a stimulating effect on the synthesis of extracellular matrix components, a fortifying effect, an elasticity-improving effect on the skin and an anti-aging effect, comprising topical application on zones of the skin at least one flavonoid ester selected from pentalauroyl, pentapalmitoyl and pentabutyryl quercetin, dilauroyl, monolauroyl, dipalmitoyl, tripalmitoyl, tributyryl, tristearoyl, trioleoyl, trilinoleoyl (sic), trilinolenoyl, triundecylenoyl, heptanoyl and trisuccinyl hesperitin, trilauroyl apigenin, triacyl naringenin, octalauroyl hesperitin, octapalmitoyl hesperitin, octalauroyl narengin, lauroyl diosmin and lauroyl rutin.
