The device is mounted on a baseplate fixed to the frame (301a) of the bending machine. An encoder (800) is linked to one end of the bar (500) to be bent through a linkage system (900,920) so that it monitors the angle of bend. Drive data, obtained by bending a bar, related to a desired angle of bend, i.e. the encoder signal, are stored in a control unit (100) and can then be used to bend subsequent bars. |
