The invention provides a device for recording, electronically processing and transmitting, via a telecommunication system, optical information, for instance an image of a person, which device comprises: a camera; video means for converting an image detected by the camera into a signal format suitable for said transmission, optionally with addition of additional information to be added to the image such as text or sound, which sound is converted into said signal format via microphone and audio means, all of this such that a message for transmitting is formed; transmitting means for entering the telecommunication system and transmitting the message; and payment means for setting the device into operation and transmitting the message; and optional printing means for printing at least the image and optionally the visual part of the whole message. |
