A device comprising an article coated with parylene wherein an adhesive is adhered to said parylene coating is claimed. The adhesive can be a pressure sensitive adhesive or a non-pressure sensitive adhesive. The device, which has improved stay-on-time, can be useful for applications to the body, such as sheet padding, a finger pad, a corn pad, a callus pad, a blister pad, a heel pad or a toe pad.
