Curable compositions containing organosilicon compounds

Crosslinkable composition comprises: (1) organosilicon compound with aliphatic carbon-carbon multiple bond; (2) organosilicon compound with Si-bonded H, or instead of (1) and (2); (3) organosilicon compound with aliphatic carbon-carbon multiple bond and Si-bonded H; (4) catalysts with Si-bonded H on aliphatic multiple bonds; and (5) compounds of formula: (I) having Si-bonded H on aliphatic multiple bonds at room temp. (where: R<1> = H or 1-12 C hydrocarbon optionally with O-, CN-, SH-, OH-, Cl-, Br-, OR-, OC(O)R-, C(O)OR-, SR-, NH2-, NHR-, C(O)NHR- or COOH-; R = 1-12C hydrocarbon; R<2> = H or 1-12C hydrocarbon optionally with O; and X = OH, Cl, Br or CN. Also claimed are (i) the preparation of adhesive-containing coatings using the above composition; and (ii) the specific compounds 2-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-phenyl-but-3-yne-1-one and 2-hydroxy-1-phenyl-but-3-yne-1-one.
