PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a refill into a shape wherein a larger volume of an ink housing cylinder can be provided in a barrel by a method wherein the ink housing cylinder is formed into a shape wherein the cross sectional shape has a shape which is evenly divided into a plurality with the center of a circle as the axis, and a ball-point pen tip is arranged at a location which becomes the center of the circle of the tip end face of the ink housing cylinder. SOLUTION: This ball-point pen refill 1 has a structure wherein a ball-point pen tip 3 is provided at the tip end of a semicircular ink housing cylinder 2 of which the cross sectional shape is a circle of a small diameter. At the tip end of the ink housing cylinder 2, a holding part 6 to hold the ball-point pen tip 3, which is constituted into a cylindrical form of a small diameter, is provided in such a manner that at the center of the semicircle, one part of the peripheral side surface 4 may be located above a flat surface part 5 of the ink housing cylinder 2, and the ball-point pen tip 3 is fitted in the holding part 6. By this method, when the ink housing cylinder is housed in the barrel as a multi-color or composite ball-point pen, the volume of the ink housing cylinder can be enlarged, and a sufficient writing distance can be obtained. |
