<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain the direction of the flattened parts of individual weights in the same direction in the longitudinal direction of the sinking rope regardless of the variation in the core yarn twisting, even in the case where the weight is divided into a plurality of weight pieces, when the weights fixed around the periphery of the core yarn are made flat in their cross sections in order to utilize the plaited cord including the sinking core rope suitably as a construction material, in the fishery sinking rope in which the weights are fixed around the core yarn. SOLUTION: This fishery sinking rope wherein the weights are buried in the hollow axis core of the plaited cord 1 comprises the core yarn 3 extending along the longitudinal direction of the plaited cord 1 and weights 4 fixed to the circumference of the core yarn 3. The weights 4 are made flexible in the longitudinal direction by making flat in their cross sections, and the core yarn 3 is inhibited from causing increased or decreased twisting.</p> |
