PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slow release body of a volatile chemical which can highly efficiently releases the volatile chemical such as isocyanates under highly humid condition being suitable for breeding of bacteria and mildews and a method for releasing the volatile chemicals. SOLUTION: A volatile chemical layer 1 wherein a volatile chemical such as an isocyanate is held by impregnating a pressure-sensitive adhesive with the volatile chemical is laminated with a slow release layer 2 comprising a hydrophilic polymer such as polyvinyl alcohol, carboxymethylcellulose, ethylene- vinyl alcohol copolymers, vinyl acetate-vinyl alcohol copolymers, hydroxypropylcellulose and celophane. |
