PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washer for fresh laver capable of removing small and large foreign maters together and washing fresh laver. SOLUTION: This washer for fresh laver is equipped with a washing chamber A on center side and a discharge chamber B on circumferential side partitioned by a partition board 4 having small holes 4a in a washing tank 1, a stirring blade 20 rotatable in the washing chamber A, water feeding means 80 for feeding water into the washing chamber A, forced discharge means 58 capable of forcibly discharging water in the discharge chamber B and a foreign matter separator 40 for opening a separation chamber through a clearance 43 in the washing chamber A. The method for washing fresh laver comprises stirring and washing a fresh laver liquid in the washing chamber A to remove small foreign matters and sucking the fresh laver liquid in the washing chamber A from the clearance 43 into the separation chamber by a suction pump 62, fixing large foreign matters in the clearance to removing them. |
