<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the cycle time and to miniaturize the adsorption tower. SOLUTION: An adsorbent such as zeolite packed in an adsorption tower 3 is cooled by a thermoelectric cooling element 6, hence the adsorbent is placed in a low-temp. atmosphere (e.g. at 10 deg.C), and the adsorptivity is improved when the nitrogen gas in a mixed air is adsorbed on the adsorbent. Consequently, the adsorbing, desorbing and regenerating times are shortened. Besides, when the same nitrogen adsorption is obtained, the amt. of the adsorbent is reduced, and the adsorption tower 3 is miniaturized.</p> |
