PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for drying an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer saponified pellet for obtaining a molding of a film, a sheet or the like of a fine fish eye having excellent melt moldability. SOLUTION: The method for drying an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer saponified pellet comprises the steps of molding a mixed solution of alcohol solution of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer saponified compound or alcohol and water in a strand-like state, cutting the strands to obtain pellets, and drying the resultant pellets at least two stages in the case of drying in such a manner that in the primary drying, a mean drying speed represented by specific formula is 5.0 to 500 pts.wt./time (hr) and in the secondary drying, the speed is 0.1 to 5.0 pts.wt./time (hr). |
