Grommet having resilient flange

A grommet for passing a long member through a hole (eg a wire harness through a vehicle panel) has an inner cylinder 21 to hold the member and an outer cylinder 22 joined by an annular connection portion 23, with a groove 24 on the outside of the outer cylinder and a resilient flange 25 on the outside of the outer cylinder between the groove and the connection portion. The outer cylinder can be turned inside out and pushed through the hole and it then returns to its original shape with the groove mounted round the edge of the hole. The flange 25 is maintained at the same angle after the grommet is fitted.
