The invention relates to new substituted 1,3-diaza-2-(thi)oxo-cycloalkanes o f general formula (I), in which n is 1, 2 or 3, Q is oxygen or sulphur, R1 is alkyl, alkoxy, alkylamino, dialkylamino, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl or cycloalkylalkyl, whereby each of these groups is possibly substituted, and R 2 is a monocyclic or bicyclic aromatic grouping which is possibly substituted and possibly heterocyclically anellated. The invention also relates to a method for producing these compounds and to their use as herbicides.
