PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lead a recording material flying from a transfer section to a body being transferred by applying an electric field between them such that the recording material flying from the transfer section is attracted to the body being transferred. SOLUTION: When a DC voltage having absolute magnitude of 100 V or above is applied from a DC power supply 10 between a conductive support, i.e., an electrode 6, to be arranged with a print sheet 3 and a conductive support, i.e., an aluminum base 4, to be formed with a transfer section 1, an electric field for attracting ink 2 to a photographic printing paper is generated in the flying region of ink 2. When a positive potential is applied to the electrode 6 and the print sheet 3 is brought into positive potential, ink flying from the transfer section 1 is charged negative because the transfer section 1 is brought into negative potential by earthing the aluminum base 4 to an earth part 11. The ink 2 flying through surface tension convection is thereby subjected to vaporization or ablation at the transfer section 1 and electrostatic force acts thereon thus leading the ink 2 to the print sheet 3. |
