PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate necessity for a special storage means for an waste ink and a waste reaction liquid by collecting the waste ink and the waste reaction liquid discharged from a recording head in an ink tank of a tank means without being mixed with an ink. SOLUTION: An ink NI in a recording head is collected in a collecting member 213 from a first path portion 217 via a third path as a waste ink OI. Similarly, a reaction liquid is collected in the collecting member 213 from a second path portion 218 via a fourth path as the waste reaction liquid OR. Since the waste ink OI and the waste reaction liquid OR can be sucked separately and independently from the recording head without mixing, a special storage means for an waste ink OI and a water reaction liquid OR can be eliminated. |
